Performance Hall

Our performance/educational hall is the main facility in Mazowsze’s home.

The auditorium seats 540 people. The area of the stage is over 3,760 square feet (nearly 350 square meters), with two side wings of about 1,100 square feet (100 square meters) each. The ceiling is almost 43 feet (13 meters) high. There are comfortable dressing rooms at the artists’ disposal, which can cater to the needs of 100 people.

Due to its unique design, the hall can serve several functions. The auditorium is usually arranged in a theatrical layout, but the seats can be automatically removed and the floor leveled out thanks to a telescopic lift system. This converts the hall into a spacious conference hall, or dancehall, with a total area of almost 12,000 square feet (1,100 square meters).

The performance hall is entered through a spacious, glass-paneled foyer on the ground floor. Upstairs, there’s an equally roomy, skylighted foyer, with an adjacent coffee bar which can serve as a snack bar or a cafeteria, depending on the occasion.

The main building hosts Mazowsze’s everyday working spaces, such as spacious ballet rooms, music rooms, and individual practice rooms. There are also conference rooms, and a spa and sauna. All rooms have been finished to a very high standard.

The performance hall inauguration ceremony was held at Karolin on October 17, 2009.
